The episode begins with Vidya suggesting that they should keep the first wedding invitation for the Lord before they start printing the cards. Abhira feels sorry, but Vidya tells her that Maasa has left the final decision to her, and now she respects Abhira’s choice. Abhira writes her and Armaan’s names on a betel leaf with a smile. Just then, Dadi enters and makes a sarcastic remark, questioning if Abhira and Armaan can truly be happy together.

Feeling the pressure of her new responsibilities, Abhira seeks advice from Dadi. Dadi reminds her that being part of a family is not just about personal happiness but about fulfilling duties towards others. She points out how Vidya, who became the family’s badi bahu, knows everyone’s likes and dislikes better than even her. Dadi emphasizes that Abhira must also take up these responsibilities and warns that it will not be easy.
Later, Kajal and Manisha ask Abhira to try on an expensive diamond ring, meant for the engagement. Abhira nervously handles the ring, aware of its high value. Manisha tells her that it’s customary for new bahus to wear lots of jewelry and that Dadi expects her to keep the ring safe until the ceremony. Abhira is filled with worry as she takes the ring.
Armaan soon finds Abhira troubled and asks what’s wrong. Abhira tries to pass the responsibility of the ring onto him, admitting she’s scared of losing such an expensive item. Armaan laughs at her worries and reassures her by explaining that he understands how overwhelming it must be for her. He jokes about the cost of the ring, lightening the mood. He then sweetly convinces her to keep the ring safe, knowing how much it means to their family.
Despite his reassurances, Abhira remains anxious about her responsibilities. She recalls Dadi’s words and realizes she must overcome her fears. She eventually agrees to keep the ring, promising herself that she will make Armaan proud by taking care of it.
Meanwhile, Ruhi, feeling threatened by Abhira’s growing importance in the family, secretly plans to sabotage the engagement. She tries to remove the rakhi, believing that Anupama’s presence ruined her plan. However, Rohit confronts her and encourages her to support Abhira instead of opposing her. Ruhi, still upset, resolves not to let the marriage happen.
As the engagement day draws closer, Abhira overhears a conversation between thieves who are eyeing the expensive diamond ring. She becomes paranoid and decides to hide the ring in the outhouse, hoping to protect it from being stolen. She locks the door and windows, praying that everything will go smoothly and that no one will come after the ring.
